For three years in a row I have designed and edited the poster for Geestkracht. These poster will hang in the hallway’s of MBO Utrecht locations. Geestkracht is a project from MBO Utrecht, where students research mental health within the school. And regain confidence, tools and information to succeed in school. I made this poster in collaboration with Karin de Kok, a project supervisor for Geestkracht.

With mental health often being associated with dark and somber colours and design, we wanted to do something completely different. Bold and fun colours, inspired by the season spring. With colourful images relevant tot the topic. A QR-code so information is easy to find with any smartphone.

For the lastets poster, number three, I was asked to slightly change the colours and design. To make it stand out from the previous years and re-catch the eye of the students. Changing the colours seemed the best way to achieve this goal. by still having bright colours, but more inspired by the changing of seasons from autumn into spring. The same boxed design was kept, as it has become an easily recognised style for the project.
